View from the Fifth Floor

 

This is going to be a study in texture. Loving the addition of dyed cheesecloth which I stitch and then shred. First I iron and starch it to make the stitching easier, it's fun to shred it, I have added dyed burlap which doesn't shred as easily but I am adding various yarns to add texture. Then on Saturday I bought 5 matchbox cars. Yeah, it wants those! The challenge will be attaching them. I think I will have to drill them and add card board on the back as a stabilizer. They're heavy but fun!
