More Winter

 

Legs and shoes finished, working on the coat. Adding pieces of old quilts, scraps of fabric and felt. This is not going to be a button quilt, but still full of texture.

I watched You tube video on a national portrait competition held at the National portrait gallery in London. It took place in 2018. I was so inspired by a 17 year old girl who did the portrait in pastel and colored pencil. Awesome. It inspired me to think what could be done in thread and fabric.
