I used to sew a rod pocket and use a lattice strip to hang them but now I sew velcro to a strip of twill tape and sew that to the back of the quilt. Then I take the lattice strip and staple the other side of the velcro to it. All you have to do is hang the lattice strip evenly and then press the quilt to the velcro.
